The arts touch all aspects of our being and have always been considered a vehicle for the expression of the soul. Reputable studies are linking the arts to improved reasoning, memory, and improved academic success. Our organization is using the arts and humanities as a tool to encourage self-expression, community building, and family strengthening. The La Crosse Area Family YMCA is making the arts more accessible to people in the community.
