Registration Information
Maximum field limit is 300 participants. Registration
will close early if race reaches maximum. There
will be NO race day registration. All registration will
close on May 23rd.

Strong
Kids Entries
Strong Kids
(SK) entries are a $50 individual entry fee for either
distance (sprint or intermediate) + a $100 tax deductible
contribution to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.
SK entries will not count towards the field maximum
of 300. However we will not accepted more than 325 total
athletes.
To register for a SK spot please download
a registration form from this website and mail it in
or drop it off at either YMCA location. All SK
entrants will receive a letter confirming their tax
deductible contribution.
SK registrations
will be accepted through Friday, May 23rd.
Entry
Fees*
Participants must be 16 years of age or older to
participate in the Sprint Distance and 18 years of age
or older to participate in the Intermediate Distance.
Entry fee includes event goody bag & t-shirt and
post race meal.
Individual
Sprint Distance: $55 on or
before 3/1/08 & $75 after 3/1/08
Individual Intermediate Distance:$70
on or before 3/1/08 & $90 after 3/1/08
Sprint Teams: $90
Divisions
- Age Groups: 5-year age groups,
19 & under through 65+
Athena: female participants over
165 pounds
Clydesdale: male participants over
200 pounds
Sprint Teams
If the number
of athletes warrants an Elite Wave, we will have one;
however this will not be separate division.
Awards
Awards will be presented to the top overall male and
female finishers; the top 3 finishers in each age group,
Clydesdale and Athena; and the top 2 Sprint Corporate
Teams.
Packet
Pick Up
Participants MUST bring a photo ID and a copy of their
active.com or YMCA receipt with them to packet pick
up. NO RACE if identification is not provided.

Sunday, June 8th 5:45-6:45am Swarthout Park
On
Sunday packet pick up will close promptly at 6:45am.
Team Packets: ALL members must sign waiver before packets
and numbers will be released
Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting
There will be pre-race meetings held every 45 minutes
on Saturday, June 7th starting at 4:30pm with the last
Saturday meeting to start at 6:00pm. On Sunday, June
8th a pre-race meeting will be held at 7:30am at the
swim start. Each athlete competing in the triathlon
must attend at least one meeting to hear specific course
instructions and announcements.
Chip
Timing
The Got Energy? Triathlon is a chip timing event. Chip
timing will be provided by White River Sports.
Parking
There will be NO parking on race day at Swarthout Park
. All competitors, spectators and volunteers MUST park
at West Salem High School , 405 E Hamlin St. and ride
the shuttle bus to the park. Swarthout Park is approximately
1.2 mile from the High School.
Refund
Policy
Your payment will be returned if received after the
event fills. Refunds will not be given for injuries,
illness, schedule conflicts, inclement weather etc.

another athlete.
