Turning Sports Skills Into Life Skills

YMCA sports are a great opportunity to teach values like caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. YMCA youth sports help young people become better players and better people by emphasizing skill development instead of competition. Our traveling youth sports programs (WAVE Swim Team, Illusions Gymnastics Team and Traveling Basketball Teams) offer kids the opportunity for competition locally, regionally and nationally.
