Gymnastics

Gymnastics provides opportunities for youth to build confidence, learn new skills, make friends, and increase activity. Our coaches strive to provide opportunities for youth to develop leadership skills while increasing balance, strength, coordination, and agility. Participants learn how to set goals, fundamentals of gymnastics, sportsmanship, teamwork, and most importantly have FUN!

Classes are available to those ages 18 months-18 years and we offer a variety of classes for all abilities and interests.

All classes take place in the Houser Gymnastics Center or Dahl Gymnastics Center.

Give your child a positive introduction to group play while they develop self-confidence. Children will improve balance, upper body and core strength while mastering pre-gymnastics skills using mats, springboards, balance beams, blocks, and low bar. Obstacle courses, games and fun are included in every class. Parent/Guardian must attend class with the child.

This class invites active youngsters who have never experienced an organized class without a parent to join us for a fun, supportive, explorative gymnastics experience including stretching, jumping, rolling, balancing, swinging, and more! Our enthusiastic instructors will help your child learn what his or her body can do on a springboard, bars, beam, floor, and more.

This class invites all active 6-year-olds who are new to gymnastics and experienced 5-year-olds to join us for a fun, supportive, experience with instructors who will guide them to improve strength and flexibility, jumping, forward and backward rolls, handstands and cartwheels, balancing skills on beam, swinging on bars, and other fun skills.

This class invites all children age 7 or older who are new to gymnastics to join us for an engaging, supportive, gymnastics experience with instructors who will guide them to improve their strength and flexibility; work on handstands and cartwheels; balancing skills, jumps and dismounts on beam; swings and hip circles on bars; and other fun skills.

This class invites gymnasts who have completed BEGINNER level gymnastics to continue growing and learning gymnastics. Instructors will help reinforce previous skills; improve strength and flexibility; work on turns, bridges, and round-offs on the floor; balancing skills, jumps, turns and dismounts on beam; pull-overs and hip circles, and handstands on bars; and vaulting skills.

For gymnasts advancing from INTERMEDIATE level to continue growing with gymnastics! Previous skills are reinforced; improve strength/flexibility; work on bridge kick-overs and handsprings; balancing skills, jumps, turns, and handstands on beam; glide swings, hip circles, and handstands on bars; and vaulting skills.

For gymnasts advancing from ADVANCED level to continue improving and learn skills needed for our competitive team. Previous skills are reinforced; improve strength/flexibility; work on round off back handspring; jumps, handstands and turns on beam; glide swings, hip circles and handstands on bars; and vaulting.

Gymnastics 10 & up invites gymnasts of all abilities age 10 years old or older to start or continue their gymnastics journey! Whether you are new to gymnastics or wanting to prepare to join a high school team this class will help you set and achieve your goals. This class will focus on improving strength, coordination, endurance, and flexibility. Our enthusiastic coaches look forward to helping gymnasts age 10 or older improve their skills and grow their passion for gymnastics.

Homeschoolers of all gymnastics abilities will have fun while improving their strength, coordination, endurance, and flexibility. Our instructors will support new and experienced gymnasts in learning skills on vault, bars, beam, floor, and tumble track.

Family open gym is designed for parents with children under the age of 7. Parents will be asked to be out on the floor and hands-on with their kids throughout the entire open gym. Family Open Gym occurs every Wednesday from 9-10:30am in the Gymnastics Center. There are also Family Open Gyms on the first and third Saturday of every month. Price will be $10 per family for members and $15 per family for non-members.

Private Gymnastics Lessons

Private lessons are a great opportunity for one-on-one attention for your gymnast to continue to grow and learn. Private lessons allow for your gymnast to work on specific skills or events they need additional practice with or those that they prefer! We also offer small group lessons great for friends or siblings to work together and have some fun in the gymnastics center.

Competitive Gymnastics Team

Develop friendships as you achieve new skills on one of our competitive levels. Placement on team is by coach selection. Our optional levels have placed 4th in the nation as well as State Champions for the past ten years. Our coaches teach in a fun, nurturing, and supportive environment.

Parkour

Parkour provides opportunities for youth to build confidence, learn new skills, make friends, and increase activity. Participants will learn to navigate obstacles by running, rolling, vaulting, jumping, climbing, flipping, and twisting.

Our coaches strive to provide opportunities for youth to develop leadership skills while increasing strength, coordination, and agility. Participants learn how to set goals, fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork, and most importantly have FUN!

Parkour classes are available to ages 5-16.

All parkour classes take place in the gymnastics center.

This class invites all children ages 5-7 or older who are new to Parkour to join us for an engaging, supportive, acrobatic experience with instructors who will guide them to improve their bodies’ movements. Participants will learn the fundamentals of parkour including how to land, jump, fall, and maneuver obstacles.

All children ages 8-15 who are new to or moderately experienced with Parkour are invited to join us for an engaging, supportive, acrobatic experience with instructors who will guide them to improve their bodies’ movements. Participants will learn to negotiate obstacles by running, vaulting, jumping, climbing, switching, flipping, and twisting.

All children age 8+ who are highly experienced with Parkour/Freerunning or gymnastics, or who have been advanced by their coach from Parkour 1 are invited to join us for an engaging, supportive, acrobatic experience. Participants will continue to develop their flips, vaults, and twist; and learn strides, front, back, and side flips, dashes, caches, kongs, and precisions.

This class invites all children age 10 or older who are highly experienced with Parkour/Freerunning or gymnastics, or who have been advanced by their coach from Parkour 2 to join us for an engaging, supportive, acrobatic experience. Participants will continue to develop their flips, vaults, twists, strides, front, back, and side flips, dashes, caches, kongs, and precisions.
