Age Minimum

Y members 14+ years and older can attend classes.

Class Schedule

Y members: download the YMCA360 app or log in to YMCA360 to view the schedule and make a reservation. Non-members can view the schedule here.

Reservations

In classes that are near capacity or utilize specific equipment (examples include Interval Zone, Group Strength, Cycle, Barre Blend), members are encouraged to make a reservation. All other classes are drop-in, or on a first-come first-serve basis.

To make a reservation download the YMCA360 app or log in to YMCA360. *Group Cycling reservations are made in a separate software called PIQ that connects with our bikes. The reservation window opens 72-hours prior to class start.

Reservations are honored up until 5 minutes prior to class start, then at that time remaining spots in class are for walk-in participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you chose to make a reservation but your plans change we ask that you cancel your reservation at least one hour prior to the start of class.

Cost

Group Fitness classes are a member benefit so attend as many and often as you would like at no additional cost.

On-Demand Classes

Enjoy on-demand classes on YMCA360. This is free for Y members. Explore group fitness classes, nutrition workshops, meditation and mindfulness classes, and more. Need more space? Check out our On-Demand fitness rooms at both Y locations.

What do I need to bring?

  • Water bottle
  • Sweat towel
  • Clean close-toe shoes
  • Lock to secure belongings in a locker
  • Yoga mat (if attending yoga, pilates, or barre blend)
  • Swimsuit and towel (if attending water exercise)
  • Optional: Bike cleats compatible with SPD clips.

Tips for beginners

  • Try a variety of classes and instructors to find the right class and instructor for you.
  • Arrive to class 5-10 minutes early.
  • Hydrate!
  • Place any belongings that you bring with you in a locker.
  • Listen to your body and take breaks when you need them. Follow the instructor's lead as they will always include different options to support you.
  • Take breaks when you need it.
  • Move your body and have fun.

PERFORMANCE IQ

Performance IQ makes the future of group exercise a reality with “motivation through measurement.”  Their integrated technology allows you to use your personal cycling data (Watts, RPM, Color Coded Zones, and more) in real-time to make the most of your training. Displays show individual and group performance on a single screen, empowering our cycling instructors to tailor the group fitness experience.

PERSONAL PERFORMANCE
DATA TRACKING

With features such as data tracking, spot reservation, email notifications and performance history, you can accurately track your cycling fitness journey.

HEART RATE DISPLAY

The system can pair with an unlimited number of data devices and is compatible with all brands of ANT+ based heart rate strap.

OTHER PERKS
  • Performance IQ technology displays both Power (Watts) and Heart Rate measurements.
  •  All registered Performance IQ members will receive a Workout Summary with performance results and calories burned.

WHY CREATE A PROFILE?

  • You will receive an accurate display of your calories, speed, distance and watts/lb – taking your workouts and fitness level to a whole new level! (If you choose not to create a profile, you can still participate, but the information will default to a 150 lb female.  Please note: Your weight will NOT be displayed on the screen).
  • You will be able to reserve and select your bike preference.
  • You will have access to email summaries and your entire performance history.

Mat-based Yoga and Pilates classes at the Y are specifically designed to challenge the body and calm the mind. Emphasizing core strength and flexibility, these classes can improve both mental and physical health. *Please bring your own mat.*

Are you looking for a low-impact and beginner-friendly option? Chair-based fitness classes at the Y include Chair Circuit and Chair Yoga. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing movements.

Group Cycling offers a dynamic and engaging fitness experience, bringing together participants of all fitness levels for energizing workouts. These classes use Performance IQ (PIQ) technology that provides real-time data and increased accountability during class and throughout your exercise journey.

This is a low-impact class that incorporates cardiovascular and muscle conditioning exercises using water as resistance. No lap swimming skills are necessary.
