Youth Basketball
Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning a new skill or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in basketball at the Y is about building the whole individual, combining team play and individual skills. Programming starts at age 3 through 12. Activities include leagues and instructional programs for youth.
Introduce your 4 & 6-year-olds to the basic fundamentals of basketball! Staff will focus on introducing the basic fundamentals of the game through station work while teaching teamwork and good sportsmanship. Our goals for this program are to have fun, learn character through sports, and increase basketball skills.
Families that play together stay together. Compassionate staff will work with you and your child to teach the basic skills of basketball. Devote four evenings of your quality family time to an active program where you and your child can grow through movement.
It’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you learn the game. In this league, kids develop all their basketball skills from passing and dribbling to teamwork and sportsmanship. Supportive coaches build your child’s confidence while having fun and being part of a team. Our program has a separate league for boys and girls. We have a 1st and 2nd-grade league, and a 3rd and 4th-grade league. Beginners and experienced players are welcome. Practices are once a week with games on Saturdays.

Youth Football
Programming starts at age 7 through 12. Activities include instructional programming for youth.
In this program, kids will develop their flag football skills, as well as their teamwork and sportsmanship. Supportive coaches will build your child's confidence by teaching the fundamentals of flag football while incorporating gameplay. Players will meet once a week to develop skills and work towards playing in several “in-program” scrimmages towards the end of the program.
Youth Kickball
Programming starts ages 7-12.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you learn the game. In this co-ed league, kids enjoy the playground favorite - kickball! Supportive coaches build your child's confidence while having fun and being part of a team. The first week the teams meet at their home location to play a game then they receive a game schedule for the rest of the season. Teams will travel to La Crosse, Onalaska, and Holmen. Offered at both branch locations.
Youth Soccer

This program is an introduction to the game of volleyball. Learn the basic fundamentals of the game, as well as, rules and terminology. Our goal is to have fun, create relationships through sports, and increase volleyball knowledge.
Youth Baseball

Introduce your 4-6 year-old to learn and love the sport of T-ball! Boys and girls are active, build confidence and have fun while learning the basic fundamentals of T-ball. Our coaches use stations to teach baseball skills and focus on teamwork and sportsmanship.
