FIGHTING ππππππ, FUELING πππππππ
Thanks in part to the incredible generosity from Dahl Subaru of La Crosse, the YMCA will be able to provide free meals at eight locations this summer in a collaborative effort with the School District of La Crosse and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater La Crosse.
Around 22 million kids receive free or reduced-cost meals thanks to the National School Lunch Program. However, once the school year ends, 5 out of 6 of those kids will no longer have access to free or reduced-price meals, leaving many children without during the summer months.
The Yβs Summer Food Program helps make sure kids can enjoy healthy and delicious meals and snacks all summer long.
